Since the
commencement of operation of the Alliance Contract, PSN Water
(Formally KBR Water Services or KWS) has
radically overhauled and enhanced the planning and management processes, whilst at the
same time improving the already high standards of services to the Water Corporation.
The development and continuous improvement of the Company Integrated Management
Systems have underpinned these achievements and continue to add value to the services
provided. This is exemplified by the Quality Management Systems which were developed and
certified by Det Norske Veritas to AS/NZS ISO9001:2000 |

As part
of the maintenance contract, PSN Water inherited the complete servicing of all groundwater
bores. This included removal, installation, overhaul and testing of all bore hole pump
assets for the Water Corporations Bulk Water and Wastewater Division - around 300 Pumps as
Service Exchange for around 200 Bores. |

The facilities and
expertise have given PSN Water the opportunity to offer our services as an "independent
body" for the Overhaul and Performance Testing of Bore Hole, Vertical Turbine and
Centrifugal Pump unit assemblies for both the Public and Private Sector.
Included in the overhaul and performance testing of this equipment is a
comprehensive strip and assessment report, materials or parts used, recommended
modifications, new for old replacement costs, records of equipment service and up to date
job status. |
